Thhe conference this year was amazing. Sony took Microsoft by surprise by unveiling their console's price point of 399 dollars. Some of the games look really spectacular. he graphics on some of them have become very lifelike.

What I'm looking forward to:
Titanfall
The Crew
Halo 5 (?)
Spark
Tom Clancy's The Division
Watch Dogs
Star Wars Battlefront
Metal Gear Solid 5
If you use code to help you code you can use less code to code. Also, I have approximate knowledge of many things.

You just had to put a bunch of youtube videos...I wish I could watch them.

I'm very excited for a new Oddworld.

The new Halo doesn't really interest me. I liked the first, loved the second, then only liked the third. I haven't played 4, but I have played ODST. Not really bad, but I feel like Halo already reached its zenith.

Holy crap, about time they decided to announce KH3.  I was starting to think it was vaporware.  They skipped an entire console generation...

Also FFX was awesome, glad they're remaking it.  That was my favorite of the FF series, in fact its battle system (CTB) was the inspiration for the one in Spectacles :D

Lol, Sorry just want to keep the community up-to-date.
Personally spent the last 24 hours wearing down my internet to a throttling halt, live streaming E3.
All thanks to Spike TV and G4 who no longer televise the event :/

Anywho, if there's really one video you gotta check out, it's this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LBilT83Uq4A

It was announced at Sony's Press Conference, but this exact trailer wasn't in there, and shows so much more than the one they offered.

. . .

ME TOO!! Collected all the PS1 classic and had bought the original Xbox for Munch's Odyssey.
Big fan. They're also creating another full on game after releasing this remake.
It's probably going to be a long time, but still super excited.

Feel the same way. And I think it's because the games are no longer made by Bungie, but some other company instead who picked it up to create Halo 4 (which I hated).
Felt ripped apart by ODST. Really wanted to enjoy, but just found it disappointing. After that, gave up on the series (emotionally).

Same goes for Final Fantasy Versus 13, been waiting so long.
Now they finally decide it's part of the launch series for PS4, rebranded as FF15.
Just kinda sad Ico 3, a.k.a The Last Guardian, didn't make the cut. Still crying tears over that one.
Guess it's done turned into a Half-Life 3.

That FFXV trailer is awesome, reminds me a lot of the battle system in Crisis Core.  Sadly I never finished that game... got up to the final boss, but couldn't beat it for some reason...

Not a big fan of the UI though, I hope they change it in the final game.  Right now it looks like one of those crappy Winamp "hi-fi" skins. :P

I guess that settles it, then--I know what my next console is going to be: PS4.  Nintendo announced a lot of awesome games coming out later this year too, good thing I already have a 3DSXL and a Wii U! :)

Final Fantasy X HD has been on the headlines for like a year?

It is only a remaster, no remake im afraid. The only difference will be upscaled

X-2 is being done aswell but for some reaspn they ARE NOT including the stuff that was on the (Japan only) international release

In this release you could actually catch monsters, and yes some of those monsters are :
Seymour
Tidus
Brother

etc....

There was a extras mission where you climb each floor of some massive tower.

If they release it without that I think ill ditch final fantasy. They dont seem to be in it for the fans anymore. They had to apologize for FF14 in the end. Refused to do a FF7 remake or sequel that is ACTUALLY SIMILAR

Top that with taking away exploration and you have one unhappy Harry...

15 just looks like assassains creed to me. IU get that these new styles can be fun, but as a final fantasy fanatic it just looks like a differrent series. They should drop the Final Fantasy headston until they are truly ready to make another Final Fantasy.

I like a pretty, slow, strategic story. Not constantly having to drop my drink If i dare pick it up during a cutscene because that is just the "style" now. Screw it, good graphics and old -style gameplay. Thats what i wanna see

If you think a year's wait is that bad for a game, you haven't been paying attention.
But announcement began around 2011, so about two years actually.
Not that bad really in comparison to others lately.

And, I don't know who stated anything about a remake.
Except me, which was on Oddworld, which is a remake of the first game.

Didn't know actual fans of FFX-2 existed. Thought that was myth.
I'm pretty sure Square won't miss that demographic much.

When were they ever?
After the square-enix merger they've centered most of their development around FF7-style games.
Example: FF13.

If you love the original Squaresoft games, you'll love the FF14 mmo.
But, yet...

Which is alright, because from the compliments on the Beta version of "A Realm Reborn"
they're actually doing a pretty good job now that they fire Komoto and replaced him with Naoki Yoshida.
Suggest you check it out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWeTxlVXVTE

The gameplay is a bit of a merger between FFV's job system and FF6's Active Time battle system.
And the graphic style is reminiscent to that of 12's, but with great improvements.
And exploration is a key element to both 14 mmo and 15, which are both open world.

Again, if you're comparing it to the original six, you're wasting your time.
And FF14:ARR does cover that nostalgia if you want it.

Hironobu Sakaguchi however is still making games occasinally nowandays.
If you're that interested in the old games, recently he completed the Last Story:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Story

Cutting edge graphics were pretty much apart of every Final Fantasy game, especially starting at six which is known for its pixel art.
They've also been known to try something new within every addition to the series, and being that Crisis Core was such a great game, attempting live action is a safe bet I'd say.
Plus, it's being directed by the same guy who's known for Kingdom Hearts: Tetsuya Nomura.
So if there's any type of rejection towards 15 for their new gameplay attempts, you can direct your anger at that guy.

Personally am also a fan, and can't wait.
To me, they've really been stepping up their game since their crashing mishaps of the years past.
I await their ability to redeem themselves.

I did, actually, I mistakenly called FFX HD a remake.  Wrong choice of words, I should have just said "re-release".  But anyway, yeah, the FFXV trailer linked above looks great (and sounds great as well--I hope that music is in the actual game!).  Despite my NES and SNES roots, I do try to keep an open mind about new games, realizing progress is inevitable.  Sure, the old games are awesome, but that doesn't mean the new games should all copy that formula and not try to innovate.  Just look where that got the New Super Mario Bros. series: The first game was mediocre to begin with, and the newer entries haven't added anything worthwhile to the formula, seemingly out of fear of alienating the retro crowd. The series, in my opinion, is effectively dead in the water.  3D Land, on the other hand, changed things up a bit and turned out awesome for it.
