http://sourceforge.net/projects/sphere/files/sphere/1.5/

It worked last anybody tried, but that may have been some time ago.

Yeah, I unzipped it and tried to run the .app file, but it just opened and closed instantly.

Do I have to do something with the sphere-mac-req-u folder?

Did you put a game in the startup folder? I don't think in-engine game changing (which the startup game needs) works on Mac, and so it might not do much without a game.

You probably do have to do something with the other folder...but I don't know what.

The project files were all in the startup folder.

Do I need to compile the .framework folders maybe?

The only two people who know a lot on this is N E O and Rhuan, and seeing as Rhuan has not made an account here since the renewal, only N E O may help you.

I wish I knew more about the OSX project, but sadly I do not.
If you use code to help you code you can use less code to code. Also, I have approximate knowledge of many things.

Alright, thanks for the help.

I'll see if I can't contact N E O about it.

@OP: I don't have my Macbook in front of me at the moment, but what I can tell you for sure is that the frameworks (which should be in the sphere-mac-req-u archive) need to be accessible to the .app. I don't remember offhand if they belong in the user's Library/Frameworks folder or if they need to be in a Frameworks subfolder wherever the Sphere engine app is placed, but I'll be able to better assist next time I turn on my Mac.

It was known to work on Mac OSX Leopard, both Intel and PPC, and I've previously had positive results with the Intel-only and Universal versions on earlier versions of Snow Leopard.

I'll try putting them in both places and see if it works.

Thanks
