Libraries / Re: box2d-sphere
This is nice! I want to create a platformer in miniSphere eventually, so this would come in mighty useful. :)

Projects / Re: My Junk
This is very cool stuff! I'm always interested in the things people make and share, especially when they're cool intriguing things that never got released before. Thanks very much for sharing!

And yeah, the Sphere 1.x API is still compatible and usable, so if you do decide to keep working on any of these projects, I think that would be a wonderful thing. :)

@Rhuan I do that at the beginning of the game already. MapEngine("Start.rmp", 60);
This is akin to SetMapEngineFrameRate(); for everything else a separate frame limiter is used so calling SetFrameRate() at the start of your game (or whatever function does an internal loop with a FlipScreen) is still a good idea to limit the frames.

SetPersonSpeed() only changes the speed at which a person moves. If there's any rendering differences, that's a bug.

Game Development / Re: The Screenshot Thread
Oh shit, I did say the same thing half a year ago! How about that.

In that case, making the text itself fully black would be the way to go. And decreasing the saturation of the background on the finished tasks.

That is really good artwork, considering the crazy constraints (16x16 monochrome). I like.

I like that a lot more - the gray font colors just *really* don't work well.

Projects / Re: mp3 SoundStream demo: mp3 playback in JS!
Yeah, now we can code something like Audiosurf if need be.

This has some great applications and possibilities. :)

Oh, so it's not responsive or even limiting itself to the dimensions of the theme, huh? I should've guessed... Will fix!

Edit: fixed! I literally only had to give it a maximum width and remove the absolute sizing it defined...

We now have support for the [ html5video ] and [ html5audio ] tag, useful for directly embedding sound and video files.

One downside: if you attach a WebM or sound file to a post and try to link to that, that won't work. So it's good for external sources only. Kind of a bummer.

Libraries / Re: LibEQB (Library ActionScript3 style)
This seems interesting, but the download is long gone - does anyone happen to have this library saved somewhere?

I installed an addon that allows the use of the [ gist ] tag, and even adds a nice little button in the editor interface. Note that this gist tag is a little different from the previous gist addon on SMF: instead of just the gist code (ex. 6386456), the full url needs to be put within the BB code (ex. https://gist.github.com/Radnen/6386456 ).

Example:

Note that I still have to add code to limit the height of the element.

Could the Mode7 demo displaying like that have anything to do with perspective correction? It looks very similar to it.

That said, I'm just doing a basic transform, no fancy 3D...

Nice to see a little demo become useful! I thought that demo was broken in miniSphere though, so that might need a fix...

I like the zec text and the little heart-like dungeon! The other shapes seem kinda undefined which gives you plenty of opportunity to move things around,

If you move the zec dungeons to the left more, you end up with more flexibility on the right side of the large map. Also, if you remove/rework the rightmost two tiles of the gray dungeon, this gives you more space to place a dungeon at the bottom right/general right side.
